Does God hear the Cry of the Unrighteous?

Zech 7:13 “Since they refused to listen when I called to them, I would not listen when they called to me, says the LORD of Heaven’s Armies.
Proverbs 28:9 He that turneth away his ear from hearing the law, even his prayer shall be abomination.
Psalm 66:18, If I had cherished iniquity in my heart, the Lord would not have listened.
Proverbs 15:29 The LORD is far from the wicked, But He hears the prayer of the righteous
Isaiah 1:15 BEREAN When you spread out your hands in prayer, I will hide My eyes from you; even though you multiply your prayers, I will not listen. Your hands are covered with blood.
I  ask the question does God hear the prayers of the righteous because if he does then presumeably if the one who asking asks God to forgive him then what is the point of being born again. I mean he is then forgiven isn’t he? So if God heard and answered the prayers of the unrighteous then he would think hes right with God when he is not. Thirdly If God hears and answers the prayers of the unrighteous then its OK for him to pray the sinners prayer and he would be saved?
BUT these scriptures above tells us that God does not hear the prayers of the unrighteous RATHER the scriptures exhort the unrighteous to repent and be baptised for the remission of sins (Acts 2:38) the God gives his Spirit, a divine seal that the soul is now his child one born of water and Spirit. Its him the Lord hears. David the psalmist continues..

Come and listen, all you who fear God, and I will declare what He has done for me I cried out to Him with my mouth and praised Him with my tongue. If I had cherished iniquity in my heart, the Lord would not have listened But God has surely heard; He has attended to the sound of my prayer Blessed be God, who has not rejected my prayer or withheld from me His loving devotion! (Psalm 66:16-20).

Its so easy to pray and ask God to forgive us, yet its harder to do what God requires and that is obey him and repent and be baptised. God does not take this lightly. He is against the wicked every day. So do we get the ear of God and how are folks saved? When they respond in obedience to the command of the Lord to be Born again (John 3:5) It’s upon one’s obedience to the Lord that God responds.

The Holiness of God

Can the Immaculate one take pleasure in filthy rags (Isaiah 64:6).
The Lord is glorious in holiness (Exodus 15:11).

God’s nature is Holy, infinitely and immaculately holy described as the Holy One the only only one that is holy. He took on sin and was made sin for us. He knew sin more than any other man because he was holy the pain shame and suffering for him was far greater a burden than it would be for the vilest of human kind, as we all are born in sin and shapen by iniquity but in him was found no sin.

Holiness adorns him
Worship the Lord in the beauty of holiness (Psalm 29:2 Psalm 27:4).
His holiness is his most prominent, dominant and excellent attribute and it seems that scripture pays more attention to his holiness than any other attribute. For his holiness adorns him. its his garment and raiment, his power and his nature, his presence and his voice. Holiness adorns him. His justice is holy His wisdom is holy, his arm is a holy arm (Psalm 98:1) his truth is a holy truth (Psalm 105;42). We are exhorted to worship him in the beauty of holiness.

To truly worship him is to adore his name,
‘Ascribe to the LORD the glory due His name; bring an offering and come before Him. Worship the LORD in the splendour of His holiness;’ (Psalm 29:2). There’s a  glory that is due to his name, when we baptise in his name, that too becomes an act of worship. When we lay hands on the sick and pray the pray  of faith in his name  this too becomes  an act of reverence and worship to the one who bears his Holy Name, Jesus,

Did God create sin?
No. Sin entered into the heart of man from external things God did not create sin. The angels that fell form Heaven were created holy (Jude 6) Satan thou wast perfect in in thy ways from the day that thou was created till iniquity was found in thee (Ezekiel 28:15). For one sin Moses was kept form entering Caanan, For one sin Adam and Eve were banished from the garden. For one sin Ananias and Sapphira paid the price of death in Acts. ‘Thou hatest all workers of iniquity’ (Psalm 5:3). All that God created he called good (Genesis 1:1).

And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly; and I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. (1 Thess 5;23).

Dealing with Disabling Spirits

She had a disabling spirit (Luke 13:11).

And, behold, a woman, which was diseased with an issue of blood twelve years, came behind him, and touched the hem of his garment: For she said within herself, If I may but touch his garment, I shall be whole. But Jesus turned him about, and when he saw her, he said, Daughter, be of good comfort; thy faith hath made thee whole. And the woman was made whole from that hour. (Matthew 9:20-22).).

This woman Walked everyday with her head down. That’s what people who are disabled do, they walk with their head down, signifying defeat and hopelessness. Literally she was bowing down (giving in) and allowing her situation to rule her life, mind and ultimate destiny.

A disabling spirit blinds you the hope that is set before you
A disabling spirit magnifies the problem and blinds us to the solution
A disabling spirit makes you feel less than competent and never good enough
A disabling spirit causes your ministry to be focused on issues, stuff around you and in you
A disabling spirit causes you to question the very thing God has in store for you
A disabling spirit blinds you to possibility

… why because you’ve TOUCHED  the wrong things.

like teachings that are of the law rather than that which is of Faith in Christ Jesus. By that I mean we have taken ‘issues’ and Made them ‘doctrine’ Like the:
The Deacon issue
The woman preacher issue
The tything issue
The long hair issue
The beard issue
The prophecy issue
The eldership issueThings that are DISABLING our witness and weaking our testimony of the true apostolic witness that was demonstrated by the  apostles. the WOMAN the church, is bound and found begging for healing for things that have caused the very ISSUE in the body. ISSUES
The issues of these things are crippling our walk and testimony, when we are truly called to manifest the life of Christ ion this mortal body. we are called top preach higher things. The Word of LIFE. and the very reason why many cannot preach LIFE is because they are bound with the very ISSUES that they claim others indeed, have! What Is immobilising our faith are the very teachings that put up barriers between us and others.
While itinerating in America. I too the trouble to visit a Pentecostal church in the sticks, the journey too me and hour away form my home at at the time. I knew the church was small but nevertheless My heart was to go and encourage those who many never have had a stranger from Wales come into their place of worship. I opened the door and was immediately approached by the Pastor who gazed down  at my left hand, which I thought was rather strange and before even shaking my hand or asking me who I was or where I was from  began and twenty minit lecture on why I should not wear a ring! Needless to say i never went back. their holiness is a barrier to salvation and connecting to the believers let alone the lost.
Friend we have to take our issues to Jesus
We have to make Jesus our Issue!
This woman touched Jesus. That’s what you have to do today, touch Jesus.
How do you get rid of a disabling spirit?
Press through the clutter, the chatter, the crowd and the circumstances and ….. Touch Jesus!
Paul.
